Ponder This: Which fruit of the Spirit do you admire most in others?
Why do you think that might be?

Scriptures To Consider
Romans 8:5
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

Romans 8:14
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

John 15 :1-2
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

1 John 4:2-3
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Reflections from the PrayerBowl Team:

Joy is a fruit I admire most in others. I have had the pleasure of being around groups of people in Arusha, Africa who would give you freely with a big smile whatever they had, even though it was not much. A child, shoeless, playing with a bike tire, his only toy, was grinning from ear to ear for hours. I could see that his joy came from the Lord. I also saw a group of women who made food for 25 orphans every day. They did so with big smiles and joy in their hearts.

I really admire the fruit of self-control because our world invites us into self-indulgence. A few examples I admire in people are fasting, celibacy until marriage, controlling actions and words in challenging situations, and resisting temptation. When I witness these, I see the fruit of self-control in these individuals, who live in the world, but not of it.

Faithfulness- When people are going through difficult times and they stay faithful and share how their faith in The Lord it is so inspirational. I admire their ability to turn to The Lord and praise Him in times of trouble or sorrow, it is an inspiration for my faith.

Share this and let the person or people know who came to mind, what fruit of the spirit you admire in and through them!
