Ponder: How can you recognize the guidance of The Holy Spirit?

John 16:7
7 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
John 16:12-15
12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14 He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
Romans 8:14-17
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. ______________________________________________________________________________________

-Praise music is a great way to position your heart and mind hear from The Spirt
-In a group setting The Spirt can lead or nudge you to share your heart even when you may not want to.
-When you allow yourself to sit in silence, being still and listening.
-We can see the fruits of the spirt develop in us and hear from the spirt during time where we can practice patience, joy, and love in times where it is difficult to do so.
