A Prayer For Patience And Endurance During A Trial
King Jesus,
I come before you full of hope because you are the promise fulfilled. The joy you bring to my life isn’t based on circumstances; it comes only through knowing you as my redeemer and friend. Lord, help me be patient as I face trials. You told me that storms would come and gave me the tools to endure and stand firm in my faith, but it is still so hard. Thank you that through your strength I can get through all things. Lord, again, I pray, grant me patience and peace when my world feels out of control. I am thankful that you invite me to pray continuously, knowing it is how I remain in you and you remain in me. What a blessing that I can draw near and be held by the one who loves me most.
In your precious name, I pray, Amen

Let us come together in prayer on this Memorial Day.
Father God,
Your word tells us in John 15:13, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. On this Memorial Day, we pause as a nation to express our profound gratitude for those who bravely and courageously laid down their lives for our country. We pause as a nation to honor their memory. We pause as a nation to appreciate the gift of freedom their sacrifice allows, Lord, help us to never take it for granted. On this Memorial Day, we pray for the families who have lost loved ones. We pray for healing from the wounds of war. We pray for peace and the end of all conflict.
Today we pray, God Bless America. Amen
